Welcome to the Haedong Kumdo Herenthout Website!

On the main page, you'll find some information about us, but on this page, you can subscribe to the upcoming seminar. The first international Haedong Kumdo Seminar in Belgium will take place at the end of May 2025. Here's what you can expect at our seminar:

Kimu session: The Kimu Session will be held at Mudori Lanaken. It kicks off our extended weekend on Thursday, May 29th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and costs 25 euros.

Single sword workshop: On Friday, we return to Mudori Lanaken for training in two sessions during the day. The entire workshop will cost 45 euros and will take place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Double sword workshop: Next up is the Double Sword Workshop on Saturday, also running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM over two sessions. The cost is 45 euros.

Belgian Open Championships: Sunday will not be a day of rest as we compete against each other in the Belgian Open Championships! There are several categories to choose from, and you can even combine multiple categories:  

- Paper Cutting: Perform different exercises and tackle various levels of difficulty.  

- Ssangsu Kumbop: Show off your best Ssangsu Kumbop with excellent energy flow, power, and a precise finishing touch.  

- Ssang Kumbop Mastery: Demonstrate the Ssang Kumbop form you’ve mastered over the years and compete for the gold medal!  

- Sword Dance: Create your own sword dance and impress the judges with your creativity and skill.

Black belt workshop: Don’t leave just yet! On Monday, June 2nd, we’ll hold a special Black Belt Workshop. From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Grandmaster Kim will lead this exclusive session for black belts at Mudori Lanaken. The cost is 35 euros.
